| How does the ATV sound system install on a ATV? |
| Most of our customers use bungee cords (not supplied) to secure the enclosure to the front of the rack. Every rack is different so make sure you use the correct size bungee cord. Most racks require a pair of 15" or 20" bungee cords. We offer an optional mounting kit for our ATV speaker enclosure as well. This system consists of three neoprene mounting studs with washers and nuts. The three neoprene mounting studs go in between the bottom of the enclosure and the top of the rack. Our mounting kit will work with the Polaris plastic racks as well. Determine where to locate the mounts on your rack and the bottom of the enclosure and then drill three 3/8" or 7/16" holes through both the rack and enclosure. It is very important to make sure the hole pattern layout is the same for both the rack and the bottom of the enclosure as the mounts need to go through both set of holes. Remove the speakers and the radio (this can be done with a screwdriver or cordless drill) prior to drilling the holes in the enclosure. After you do this, secure the mounts to the bottom of the enclosure with the supplied washers and hex nuts, install the radio and speakers back into the enclosure, and then install the enclosure with the mounting studs through the holes in the rack and secure the enclosure to the rack with the supplied washers and wing nuts. The wing nuts will allow the enclosure to be taken off the rack quickly. This mounting method takes about 1 hour in most cases and if done correctly, this mounting method is very secure and will help keep the CD player from skipping on rougher terrain! |
| What type of finishes are offered with your ATV Sound systems? |
Unlike most of our competitors which offer their systems in a dull plastic finish or carpeted wood finish, our systems are offered in either a beautiful high gloss black painted finish or a durable, textured speedliner finish. The high gloss finish is not as durable as our textured finish but is very easy to clean. Our textured finish is almost indestructible and is recommended for riding in wooded and forest areas and for those who do not want to worry about scratching the enclosure. We offer a variety of textured colors, including red and green. |
| Will the CD player skip when riding on the ATV? |
All of our systems include CD players with electronic skip protection (ESP), which consist of a memory chip that stores music in advance so if the cd skips, the music doesn't! Again, this is another example of what distinguishes our systems from our competitors! However, prolonged riding on rough terrain or extreme jumping may cause the CD player to skip. Also, the more aggressive the suspension and tires on the ATV, the more likely the CD player may skip. Every system includes thick neoprene strips to mount to the bottom of our enclosures to help reduce vibration. We also offer a mounting kit that further helps to reduce any skipping. Overall, in most riding instances the CD player should not skip when installed properly. |
| Are your ATV Sound Systems waterproof? |
All of our sound systems use high quality marine equipment and speakers. Check out our video of our JBL sound system to see some of the abuse our systems can take! We have carefully tested and chosen equipment that has proven to hold up to the extreme requirements of ATV riding. Again, unlike many of our other competitors who throw in the cheapest "non brand" equipment they can find (and its not a question of if this equipment will fail, but WHEN), we use only high quality electronics from well known manufacturers. Our manufacturers back up their equipment with some of the best warranties and product replacement programs on the market today! We are the only manufacturer to produce ATV speaker enclosures out of fiberglass. Fiberglass is very strong and dense and of course is completely waterproof as well! We do encourage riders to keep the supplied radio housing lid closed when riding to keep dust and excessive moisture from the CD player. Also, none of our sound systems are designed to be completely submerged and will void the manufacturer's warranty. A drain plug is now installed on the bottom of the enclosure to easily drain any water that works its way inside the enclosure. If a drain plug is not installed on a system purchased prior to us adding this feature, feel free to call and request one at no charge. All that is required to install the drain plug is to drill a hole in the bottom of the enclosure. |

| Does AudioFormz make any subwoofer enclosures for 15” or larger subwoofers? |
| No, we do not currently manufacture any subwoofer enclosures for 15” or larger subs. |
| How does AudioFormz fiberglass enclosures sound? |
Our enclosures are designed to enhance bass response and SPL. This is done in two ways: design and rock solid construction. The round design of our enclosures helps to eliminate standing wave distortion, which can affect bass response and sound quality. By design, our enclosures have fewer seams than wood enclosures, which greatly reduce the chance for air leaks. Furthermore, our enclosures are constructed of solid fiberglass, which creates a very strong and rigid enclosure that will not flex or resonate. Also, our enclosures are extremely thick (by fiberglass standards), and have a very high fiberglass-resin ratio, which further creates a strong and dense enclosure. |
| How do I mount speakers in AudioFormz fiberglass enclosures? |
Mounting subwoofers in AudioFormz enclosures is very similar to mounting subs in wood enclosures. We supply special mounting screws with each enclosure. This method will allow the subwoofer to be taken out easily for service without stripping out the mounting holes. A drill will be required to pre-drill the mounting holes. A drill bit is supplied with each enclosure.
VERY IMPORTANT: Never use drywall screws or other screws designed for wood applications as these screws may break and damage the gelcoat finish! |

How is the amp wiring ran when installing the xBamprack2 series amp rack? |
You can drill holes through the sides or the bottom of the amp rack to run all wiring. We have allowed enough clearance through the bottom of the amp rack to run up to 4 AWG wiring. There are a few places where wiring cannot be ran through the sides of the panels because of stock fasteners and clips. |

Yes, we make the racks for both sides. The xBamprackDS is the driver side amp rack and the xBamprackPS is the passenger side amp rack. |

If we are out of stock, you can send us your stock panels and we will modify and send them back. You can keep your stock panels but there is an additional $140 charge per panel. |

xB hood FAQ's |
Does AudioFormz offer this hood painted? |
No, we do not offer this hood painted because of the high risk of shipping damage that is out of our control. We can paint this hood for local orders that can pick up the hood. |
Can the stock xB window washer nozzles be installed on the AudioFormz hood? |
They can with modifications but we recommend installing aftermarket nozzles that install much easier and require no more than drilling holes where you would like to install them. |
How easy is it to install the xB hood? |
The AudioFormz hood installs easily in minutes. Our striker and mounting nuts in the hood can be adjusted to get the perfect fit! |
Is this a functional ram air hood? |
No, but the hood can easily be cutout underneath for a DIY air box kit or for engine ventilation. |
Why oven-bake the hood? |
Fiberglass and carbon fiber hoods can “post cure” after production. What is post cure? Post curing occurs when resin gets hot or hotter than it did during the production process and the resin actually shrinks and moves, resulting in heat marks or small dings that can look like hail dents. This normally occurs on hot, sunny days or when your engine gets extremely hot, raising the temperature of the hood. We oven-bake the hood after production to extremely high temperatures to promote the curing process so when you get your hood, it will not post cure. This is just another step we take to offer an extremely high-quality product! |

Wakeboard Tower Speaker Enclosures FAQ’s |

| Can AudioFormz customize wakeboard enclosures? |
| Yes, we can customize our enclosures to fit your specific application. We offer our enclosures with or without clamps, terminals, mounting holes, etc. We offer custom paint and even custom gelcoat colors! Some restrictions apply. |
| What material are the speaker clamps made from? |
| Our speaker clamps are made from polished aluminum and include stainless steel mounting hardware that will not rust. |
| Does AudioFormz offer its wakeboard tower speaker enclosures without speakers and clamps? |
Unlike most of our competitors, we do offer our wakeboard enclosures without speakers and clamps at a reduced price! You can purchase clamps for an additional charge and we will install them for you, unless otherwise requested.
Will other speakers fit in AudioFormz wakeboard tower enclosures? |
Yes, our 6.5-7” wakeboard tower enclosures will fit many different 6.5” and oversized 6.5” speakers, but not all of them so check the speaker specifications carefully to make sure they will fit with our enclosures. The outside diameter of our enclosures should match up as close as possible to the speaker or speaker grill diameter to get the best possible fit. Remember to check the cutout diameter requirements as well. |
Can other 6”x9” speakers be installed in the AudioFormz 6”x9” wakeboard tower speaker enclosures? |
Yes, but they may not fit flush with the outer edge of the enclosure and some modification may be required to install them correctly. |
| What are the speaker clamp neoprene liners? |
All of our clamps now include a very thin foam liner and molded neoprene liners in two different sizes, 1/16" and 1/8". Use these liners to eliminate potential scratching of your wakeboard tower. Also, these liners can downsize the clamp size up to 1/4". Therefore, our 2 1/4" clamp can fit on most 2" towers and our 1 7/8" clamps can fit on many 1 5/8" towers. |
| Which tower speakers are the loudest? |
Our 6x9 models are by far the loudest when compared to our 6.5-7" tower speakers. This is primarily due to the fact that these speakers are larger, the enclosures are twice as big (more midbass), and the 6x9 speakers have higher power handling. Our Polk MOMO line is considered our top of the line speaker system. They use external crossovers that we mount inside the enclosure, which does increase the weight of this system for those concerned about weight. They have higher power handling than most of our other speakers as well. They have a very natural sound and we consider them our best overall sound quality system. Our Kicker KS65 system actually metered slightly louder at 70ft than our 6.5" Polk MOMO system and has a very bright sound to them thanks to their redesigned tweeter. The Rockford Fosgate system has a very similar sound to the Kicker. The Polk DB675 system gives you the most bang for the buck and sounds great, but does have lower power handling capabilities than our other systems. All of our Polk speakers are marine certified. Overall, all the systems we sell use high quality speakers and have a proven track record for this application. |
| Will AudioFormz 6.5" and 7" wakeboard tower speaker enclosures fit on the Malibu Illusion X tower? |
Yes, they will fit this tower. We now offer Illusion X brackets that install in between our wakeboard tower speaker enclosures and the Illusion X tower. The enclosures and brackets are pre-drilled with the same 3 hole pattern in the Illusion X tower. Two holes are for the supplied mounting bolts and the other hole is for the speaker cable, thereby eliminating the need for an external speaker terminal. You will need to specify which mounting location (upper or lower) on your X tower you want to mount the speakers to because each mounting location requires different hole locations on the enclosure. |
| Will AudioFormz 6x9 tower speaker enclosures fit on the Malibu Illusion X tower? |
Yes, they will but we do not offer the enclosures pre-drilled at this time. You would need to use the supplied Illusion X brackets as a template to drill the holes in the enclosures. |
Are the AudioFormz wakeboard tower speaker enclosures painted? |
No, they are not painted unless otherwise specified. They are finished in a high-quality, U.V. protected colored gelcoat, the same gelcoat used with most fiberglass boats today. However, custom painting is available for all our enclosures. |
What gelcoat colors are available? |
The 6.5”-7” wakeboard tower speaker enclosures are available in a high-gloss white or black gelcoat finish. The AudioFormz 6”x9” tower speaker enclosure has always been available in a white gelcoat. and a black painted finish. Now we offer this enclosure in a black gelcoat. If you ordered these enclosures in a black painted finish and would like to order another pair, please make sure you request the black painted finish as this finish has a slightly different finish and color than our black gelcoat. |
What size clamps are available for the wakeboard tower speaker enclosures? |
We now use a universal polished aluminum mounting clamp that will fit towers from 1 7/8"- 2.5" in diameter using the supplied rubber liners. Additional rubber strips can be used for towers smaller than 1 7/8". Our customers have also used PVC piping cut in half and installed around the tower to make the tower mounting diameter larger in order for the clamps to fit properly. |
